"Chiral symmetry and topology in graphene"
Y. Hatsuga
Chiral symmetry is fundamental in graphene. It supports the stability of doubled Dirac cones and makes the zero energy Landau level special. With some type of particle-particle interaction, doubly degenerate chiral condensates are perturbatively exact many body ground states for the nu=0 quantum Hall phase. It is a Hall insulator with vanishing non Abelian Chern number of Niu-Thouless-Wu. All of them will be described topologically.
