In our recent paper, Euro. Phys. Lett. 95, 20003 (2011), we describe the ZQ quantization of Berry phases, which are adiabatic invariants to capture generic multimerization transition. It is a natural way to relax local entropy of quantum system to realize gapped quantum liquids. Our adiabatic invariants can be a topological order parameters for them. Our model is a line graph ( a kind of dual graph) of the d-dim graphene proposed by M. Creutz. Also we give explicit expression of the quantized Berry phase for the chiral symmetric fermion hamiltonian for half-filled many body state, which shows the Berry phase is not of the wave funcion but the character of the hamiltonian. Have a look at. Also available at arxiv.org/abs/1009.3792.
