Hall conductance of the fractional/integer quantum Hall effect is given by the Chern number defined by an integration of the field strength two form of the Berry connection associated with the boundary condition. Actually one can skip this integration when the system size is sufficiently large We have demonstrated this fact with numerical validity. The paper will appear in Physical Review Letters, "Many-body Chern number without integration", by Koji Kudo, Haruki Watanabe, Toshikaze Kariyado, and Yasuhiro Hatsugai.
